Tingsha - cymbals/bells
Tingsha of Tibetan origin, are small cymbals played with the hands. The two cymbals are joined together with a leather strap and feature the 8 auspicious symbols.
The 8 auspicious symbols are; The Precious Parasol, The White Conch Shell, The Two Golden Fish, The Knot of Eternity, The Vase of Great Treasures, The Victory Banner, The Lotus Flower, The Eight Spoked Wheel which represent the qualities of the enlightened mind.
They are effective for healing, meditation, and relaxation through sound therapy and the Tibetan mantra's powerful invocation. Great to open a meditation or sound healing session or to bring people back to the room at the end of the session.
Tingsha are very thick and produce a unique long ringing tone.
